Utah Concealed Carry Courses now being offered in Illinois

I’m sure that you’ve heard all of the great news about how the number of Concealed Carry permit holders is on the rise.  This isn’t just great news for the gun industry, but it’s also great news that people are taking steps to protect themselves and their right to bear arms.  However, not all US citizens are offered the opportunity to conceal and carry a firearm in self-defense.  Take Illinois for example.  In the Northern part of the state you have Chicago, which has been dubbed the “murder capitol of the world.”  The enormous size, money, and power of Chicago means that the rest of the state is left to follow the megatropolis.  This is especially true when it comes to guns.  Notwithstanding the paramount Heller case, Chicago continues to deny its citizens the opportunity to lawfully own handguns.  To make matters worse, the Democratic super-majority has destroyed recent efforts to bring concealed carry to Illinois.

Recently, a proactive group of Illinois residents contacted MyUtahCCW.com about getting the Utah permit.  So I traveled out that way and taught a course.  Needless to say, I was totally impressed with how many people wanted to take advantage of getting the Utah Concealed Carry Permit.  These people want to conceal their firearm for self-defense as lawful citizens and I think their state should let them.  But for now, we’ll see about getting the Utah Concealed Firearm permit all over the state.
