Our instructor, Mike Steck, returned from Iraq in May of ‘08. He worked as a Chaplain Assistant where his primary responsibility was to protect the Chaplain - who doesn’t carry a weapon because of the Geneva Convention. After 8 years in the Utah Army National Guard and two deployments to the Middle East, Mike is taking off his Army boots and going back to school to pursue a law degree from the University of Utah. Mike became a Utah Concealed Carry instructor because he wanted to share with people how to carry and use weapons safely. We hope that you’ll enjoy the class!
