This course covers the basics of hand gun use. We will help the student to develop the skills and confidence needed to effectively carry and use a handgun for self-defense. We will also discuss the importance and use of an “every day carry kit” or EDC.

• Pistol Marksmanship
• Grip and stance
• Proper and Efficient Loading Techniques
• Drawing and Firing
• Common Malfunctions
• Firing From Concealment
• Firing From Cover
• Proper Grip and Shooting Stance
• Shooting From Non-Dominant Hand
Pre requisite: This class is open to all those who are interested in developing a better self defense skill set. You must be able to legally own a firearm
Equipment Requirements: Pistol, Strong-side Holster (No cross draw or shoulder holsters), 2+ magazines and carriers, 200 rounds of ammunition. Optional Equipment: Everyday Carry Kit
Class will be held rain or shine. Dress accordingly.
